Most of the lodges are exclusive-use lodges, so a 4-bedroom lodge will work out expensive if you are only 2 people. Often, the more expensive the lodge per person, the more luxurious the lodge is.

All the exclusive-use lodges in Hoedspruit, Limpopo, are family-friendly. The lodges on the Hoespruit Wildlife estate welcome families. Some of the surrounding safari lodges have an age restriction. This is for your safety, as the property is home to the Big 5, and children under 6 can be difficult to control when a lion or elephant approaches the vehicle. Cape Town to Hoedspruit Flights
There is a daily flight from Cape Town International Airport to Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport, returning daily. Flights can be booked directly with CenAir or with Airlink. From 1 October 2025, FlySafair will commence flights. Follow the links to make online bookings.
Johannesburg to Hoedspruit Flights
There are a couple of daily flights from Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport to Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport. The flight returns after about a 1-hour layover. Fly with CenAir, Safair, or Airlink.
