The per-person rate then becomes cheaper. Most of the lodges are exclusive use lodges, so a 4 bed-roomed lodge will work out expensive if you are only 2 persons. Often the more expensive the lodge per person, the more luxurious the lodge is.

Some of the surrounding safari lodges have an age restriction. this is for your safety as they have the Big5 on the property and children under 6 are often difficult to control when a lion or elephant walks up to the vehicle. There is a daily flight from Cape Town International Airport to Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport, returning daily. Flights can be booked directly with CenAir or with Airlink

There are a couple of daily flights from Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport to Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport. The flight returns after about a 1-hour layover. Fly with CenAir or Airlink.
Hoedspruit South Africa is an easy destination to drive to from Gauteng (Johannesburg or Pretoria), however, if you prefer to fly contact Airlink for daily flights from OR Tambo International Airport to Eastgate Airport (Hoedspruit) or CemAir flights from Cape Town International Airport directly to Hoedspruit Airport.
