General Visitors Tour – Self-Guided Tour

Demonstration Package Tour

After your self-guided tour an exclusive snake demonstration

R150 per personMinimum of four people

1 tour guide can be admitted free of charge with their guest/guests but advanced bookings are required.

Hoedspruit Reptile Centre Interactive Tour

The Interactive Tour is designed to allow you the opportunity to experience a deeper understanding and appreciation of our animals. You can get an up-close and personal setting through interactions with live and museum specimens. Tours include a guided walk through the Hoedspruit Reptile Centre with one of the curators.

R220 per person. Minimum 2 people

Hoedspruit Reptile Centre Photographic Tour

This tour is a truly unique experience for anyone interested in photography, reptiles, and nature. You will have a personal guide and handler watching over each reptile. The guide will give you background information on the species. You will have an opportunity to photograph animals outside of their enclosures in natural or studio settings, and the tours not only includes the opportunity to photograph reptiles but also various insects and arachnids.

R3300 per tour group, maximum 4 persons

2 weeks advance booking is required.

15 km from Hoedspruit on the R527 in the direction of Ohrigstad.

Must I make a booking?

Bookings are not necessary, but bookings must be made in advance for the Demonstration Package and the Interactive Tour. A 2-week advance booking for the Photographic Tour must be made.

Are there any other facilities?

There is a café with light snacks and refreshments, therefore you won’t go hungry or thirsty.
