Leopards Lair Bush Lodge is situated on the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate in the quiet eastern section overlooking a dry riverbed. This Bush Lodge of choice is a 10-sleeper self-catering lodge with 3 deluxe double suites each with a private verandah, ensuite bathroom, outdoor shower, and jacuzzi bath. The family room consists of a 2 bedroomed unit with an interleading door, and ensuite bathrooms that sleep 4 persons. All the rooms have aircon, fans, mini-fridges, and coffee/tea facilities. There is a communal kitchen, and lounge (with DSTV) braai area. The fabulous swimming pool overlooks the Mohlabetsi dry riverbed where you can sit back and enjoy the tranquility of nature.

The Panorama Route, the Blyde River Canyon, and Kruger Park are just around the corner from Hoedspruit Limpopo South Africa. With adventure activities like MTB and running trails, horse riding, quad bike adventure rides, white water rafting, boat cruises, and wild Africa safari options to suit all budgets, Hoedspruit is a great destination to experience the Lowveld and the Kruger Park.
The Wildlife Estate is a bird lovers’ paradise, with over 250 birds frequenting the 3 dams on the property. These dams also attract a wide variety of game like giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, impala, kudu, nyala, duiker, and warthog.
Pridelands Conservancy
a Big Five Game Reserve
10 minutes from the Lodge is the Pridelands Conservancy where you can go on a guided morning or afternoon game drive in an open safari vehicle from R990 per person. This Big5 reserve is part of the Greater Kruger National Park and is a great way to spend your early morning or sunset evening. For the more adventurous, you can arrange a guided bush walk in a Big5 game reserve. Hoedspruit town has numerous coffee shops, restaurants, pubs & grills, sushi, and curry options to keep the hungry properly fed. There are 3 grocery supermarkets where fresh fruit, veg, meat, and all other self-catering purchases can be made. There are a lot of adventure activities in Hoedspruit. Day trips to Kruger National Park through the Orpen Gate is only a 50-minute drive. Guided safaris can be arranged. Visit the world’s 3rd largest canyon on the Blyde River or travel up to the Panorama Route to see some of the world-class views from God’s Window, the Three Rondavels, and the many short hikes to waterfalls.
