You can have a hands-on experience as the flights are done under the Leading Edge Flying School. Your adventure is regarded as an Instructional Flight and can be used as your first introductory flight should you wish to proceed with a license. Flights are from the Hoedspruit Civil Airfield in town and are subject to the weather. This is a bucket list adventure activity.

Due to the favourable weather in Hoedspruit, flights can be done almost everyday dependent on the weather.

What time are the flights?

The most ideal time for a flight is ½ an hour after sunrise in the morning. Later flights can be accommodated on request, but subject to weather conditions.

A Bantam B22J and a Jabiru J170

What does a microlight flight cost?

The cost is per flight for one person

20-minute flight – R1150.00

30-minute flight – R1700.00

60-minute flight – R2830.00

Must I make a booking?

Advance bookings are essential at least 24 hours in advance and must be prepaid to secure a flight.
